Advice and information for your flight and travel plan searches
You need to search for flights to Hurghada or Marsa Allam. Availability and prices of these flights depend on the booking period.
Cruises depart from Hamata marina (southern Egypt):
- 4 h by bus from Hurghada
- 2 h by bus from Marsa Allam
We meet you on Saturday afternoon or evening at the airport or hotel of your choice and transfer you to the boat at the end of the day. The boat leaves the marina on Sunday morning. If your flight plan requires you to spend the night in a hotel, we leave it up to you to make the necessary reservations.
At the end of our stay, we’ll be back at the marina on Friday evening, still sleeping on the boat.
The airlines generally offer flights departing in the middle of the night, which is no problem at all.
So it’s perfectly possible to schedule a flight on Friday night.
On Saturday, we have to leave the boat in the morning.
If your return flight is late in the evening, it would be a good idea to plan for this wait in a day hotel (approx. €15).
You’ll have to pay for this, but we’ll be happy to book it for you on request.
You can also find good flight combinations by arriving on Saturday at Marsa Allam and returning the following Saturday from Hurghada. In this case, I advise you to look for one-way flights. It’s much easier. First one-way Milan-Marsa Alam. Then one-way Hurghada – Geneva. Here’s an example.

Easy Jet: Saturday to Saturday.
These are the best times, but can be expensive.
Turkish Airlines: departure late Friday afternoon from Geneva, arrival in Hurghada around 3 a.m.
Egypt Air: departure mid-afternoon on Friday, arriving in Hurghada in the evening.
Brussel Airlines: (via Zurich) daytime Saturday
For overnight arrivals, book a hotel in Hurghada (approx. €30/room) to finish the night, before being picked up fresh and rested in the afternoon.
