How to get to Egypt
Since June 17, 2022, all restrictions linked to the Corona virus have been lifted for anyone entering Egypt.

To return to Switzerland
- No test required
- No form required
- No quarantine

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure
You can cancel your cruise free of charge up to 24 hours before departure* if one of the following conditions applies:
- whether there is a ban on entry into the vacation country.
- if vaccination is compulsory in the vacation country**.
- whether quarantine is required for entry into the vacation country or for return to Switzerland for vaccinated persons.***
*A mandatory PCR test on the outward and/or return journey is not considered a valid reason for free cancellation.
**Applies only if the customer can prove that he or she cannot be vaccinated for health reasons, in which case a medical certificate is required.
***If the vacation destination declares a quarantine or entry ban for vaccinated persons, unvaccinated persons can also cancel their trip free of charge. If a quarantine obligation or entry ban is declared for unvaccinated persons only, this does not entitle you to free cancellation.
In the event of cancellation on our part due to COVID-19, you will of course be able to postpone your cruise with a credit note valid for 2 years, or if you so wish, you can be reimbursed free of charge.

Current health guidelines and measures in Egypt
We don’t hear much about it in the press, but in the field, the situation in Egypt is reassuring. The number of reported cases is much lower than in Europe, and we have no known cases in our team’s extended circle.
In Egypt, all those working with tourists are subject to vaccination. Consequently, all crew members are vaccinated.
Cruise ships must be in possession of a government authorization proving their compliance with current health precautions, particularly in terms of hygiene.
